PVC
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is one of the most versatile thermoplastics in use today. It is used extensively from food packaging to home construction. Its excellent strength to weight ratio and superior flame resistance, coupled with its low cost, make it the material of choice for the most demanding applications. PVC is usually an amorphous thermoplastic material with excellent chemical resistance and dielectric properties, good tensile, flexural and mechanical strength.
PVC Foams are versatile, flexible, lightweight and durable sheet designed for the demanding digital print, screen print and sign applications. Printers and advertisers may benefit from its constantly smooth and bright surface and offers a high quality printing substrate for sharp, high quality printed images.
Signex® is similar to a PVC Foam product but with far superior quality for more demanding applications. The manufacturing process results in a "skinning" or outer layer of the foam board creating a harder, smoother and more scratch resistant surface.
